The Skyhawk legacy soars on. The Airborne Skyhawk DJ 26 gets a makeover with all-new paint and graphics, but there's more to this machine than good looks. Built on a World Championship-winning hydroformed 6061 aluminum frame with geometry that feels like a big, stable BMX bike, it's easy to whip around, tracks the corners and feels balanced in the air, no matter how hard you push it. The combination of the low-profile frame, stable 69 degree head tube angle and a 41mm offset on the aftermarket-grade Manitou Circus 100mm fork add up to a combination that works on all terrains, from the pump track to the skatepark to the biggest jumps in the woods.
Borrowing from our BMX bloodline, the Skyhawk is stacked with features to make it light, tight and ready to ride, right out of the crate: SRAM Hydraulic disc rear brake, FSA tapered headset, BMX-bred 170mm heat-treated chromoly cranks, 30/14 gearing, double wall alloy rims with sealed bearing hubs and 26 x 2.1" Kenda Kranium tires for the perfect combination of traction, shock absorption, and low-rolling resistance.
