Other reviews cited the liner shorts as too short and uncomfortable, but the price difference was negligible so I pulled the trigger on both. If nothing else I could use a different liner and relegate these to undershorts on family bike rides. Turns out I had no problems with them. They are a little shorter in length along my thighs, but they fit well with my knee pads for off-road riding. I've put them through the ringer and they hold up well. Fits true to size.
I find these shorts to be very comfortable for my trail riding. They are made from very light material and they also look good. The Velcro adjustment straps make them very easy to fit without use of a belt. I can’t say as much good about the padded underwear that came with them.
Item was HUGE, felt like a skirt. I had to return it as the waist was too large and I could tell from the cut that even if the waist was the right size, the shorts were going to reach halfway between my knees and my ankles. This wouldn’t be so bad if the cut of the shorts was thinner and hugged the quads more but this was more of a mid-90’s vato-style short. Not a great design, though may fit well for an adult male with a < 30 inch waist but not me. The material was also SUPER thin, which is great for swimming or running or hiking, but I felt as if I had bailed on the bike, these would instantly rip. Paper thing. Wasn’t really happy with them personally
I like the shorts, I wear them quite frequently. My only complaint would be they are a little too long.
Good value for the price but the front zipper area buckles out.
